You can't really stop spamming without changing email address (and never
ever use your real email address in newsgroups: at least camouflage it so
that humans can decode it, but a computer program would fail).
What you can do is to filter spam into separate folders which you can then
check for any real emails from time to time.
The program K9 by Robin Keir is good for all emailing programs, and another
program Spambayes is excellent for Outlook 2000 (I use this one). Both of
these programs are stupid when you install them, and you then train them by
showing which emails you consider to be spam.
If you are going to use a program like this then keep your spam for a few
days, so that you will have some training material for when you install the
program
